Brine King
Brine King salt dissolvers are designed to provide a continuous supply of saturated, filtered, crystal clear brine.

• Suitable for food applications and water treatment systems.
• Direct pumping or gravity flow operation.
• 26% solution (100% saturation) on demand.
• Water In Sizes and capacities to suit a wide range of requirements.
• Corrosion resistant plastic, or FRP construction.

HOW IT WORKS
The Brine King salt dissolver is a 'down-flow' system, designed to produce saturated brine by dissolving granulated salt or rock salt.

Fresh water enters the dissolver through a perforated water spray ring inside the dissolving tank. The water passes downward through the salt mass, dissolving the salt, producing fully saturated brine. The brine flows down through a 3 layer filter bed of natural washed stone which removes solids and impurities from the brine. At this point, the brine is a crystal clear 100% saturated solution, ready for use. (Filter bed not required when dissolving rock salt).

DELIVERY SYSTEMS
Depending on your requirement, the brine solution may be drawn from the dissolver by direct pumping at a rate of 8-50 usgpm or by gravity flow at a rate of 2-25 usgpm (for gravity flow operation, an auxiliary holding tank is required).

CONTROLS

Models 3042-100 and 4848-100:

Water - the water level in the dissolving tank is controlled by means of a fully automatic float level control/water supply valve system. This system allows fresh water to enter the dissolver at the same rate that the brine is withdrawn.

Salt - the salt level in the dissolver is maintained by gravity discharge from the bulk bag feeding the dissolver. Gravity flow of salt into the dissolver occurs at the same rate that the salt dissolves.

Models 96180-100, 120180-100, 144180-100 and 144240-100:

Water - the water level in the dissolving tank is controlled by means of a pressure switch located in the fresh water supply line. This system allows fresh water to enter the dissolver at the same rate that the brine is withdrawn.

Salt - the salt level in the dissolver is maintained by gravity flow from the internal bulk load supplied from a pneumatic truck. Gravity flow of salt into the dissolver occurs at the same rate that the salt dissolves.
