— Equipment

Engineered FRP equipment, built to spec.

Custom-engineered FRP equipment, specified to the actual chemical, thermal, and mechanical conditions of the application — not a catalog. Alongside it, the Brine King product line and the supplied Intrepid safety gate.

01 — Tanks & Vessels

Storage and process
vessels.

Vertical and horizontal FRP tanks for chemical storage and process holding. Above-grade and underground tanks engineered to project specification, with corrosion barriers tailored to the stored medium and reviewed case by case. Tanks are molded one-piece on horizontal rotating mandrels, wall and bottom in a single seamless mold, with the corrosion liner inspected in full before any structural layers are applied.

Standards
Including, but not limited to, CGSB, ASME RTP-1, ASTM, AWWA, and NSF, applied where required

For dual-laminate tanks beyond a conventional FRP corrosion barrier, see section 08.

Brine King · Salt Dissolvers
02 — Brine King Salt Dissolvers

Saturated brine,
on demand.

Brine King salt dissolvers produce a continuous supply of saturated, filtered, crystal-clear brine for food applications and water treatment systems. A down-flow design, fresh water enters through a perforated spray ring, passes through the salt mass, and is filtered through a three-layer washed-stone bed. What comes out is 100% saturated brine, ready for use.

Four standard models in FRP or corrosion-resistant plastic construction, covering a range of production rates with pneumatic-truck salt feed for high-volume operations.

Output
40–50 USGPM (granulated salt) · 20–25 USGPM (rock or solar salt)
Models

Food processing · Water treatment · Softening & regeneration
03 — Scrubbers & Air Pollution Control

Wet scrubbers
and decarbonators.

Precisioneering's Masterscrubbers are a proven line of wet air-pollution-control scrubbers, refined since 1964 across steel pickling, plating and anodizing, fertilizer, mining, chemical, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food, and odor-control duty. Engineered for sustained service under acidic, alkaline, and chlorinated streams where steel and coated systems corrode in months. Chemical recovery can be designed into the system where it lowers disposal cost. We also fabricate decarbonators to customer-supplied design for CO₂ stripping from process liquids.

04 — Ducting & Piping

Pipe, fittings,
and ducting.

Contact-molded pipe, fittings, elbows, reducers, and full ducting trains. Large-diameter piping is filament wound. Custom flanged spools to drawing, with hydrotest and dimensional inspection prior to shipment where applicable.

05 — Fans & Ventilation

Fans, dampers,
and vent systems.

Solid FRP fans, shut-off dampers, hoods, stacks, and mist eliminators for industrial ventilation and air-handling. Fan wheels and housings are molded from solid Engineered FRP, with conductive carbon coating for spark resistance and rated for 200 °F continuous service. Centrifugal fans cover low- and high-pressure duty across three impeller styles; tubeaxial fans and centrifugal roof ventilators round out the family for large-volume and rooftop applications. Shut-off dampers can include a WEARHARD abrasion-resistant lining for slurry and particulate-laden streams.

06 — FRP Grating & Access Systems

Grating, ladders,
and access systems.

Corrosion-resistant alternatives to galvanized steel and aluminum. Our PrecisionGrate line of contact-molded FRP grating, structural shapes, and access components is cut, joined, and assembled into complete walkway, platform, and access systems, fabricated in our shop and delivered as kits or fully assembled modules. Containment systems, trench liners, sump pans, and double-wall arrangements, are built from the same components where spill control is required.

07 — Intrepid UDG Safety Gate

Self-closing
safety gates.

A patented, self-closing safety gate for guardrail openings on stairs, ladder landings, and elevated platforms. The Intrepid UDG is gravity-closing, with a universal left- or right-hand hinge and four standard sizes, and it installs on most guardrail profiles without welding. Distributed in Canada by Precisioneering under agreement with Intrepid Industries — for projects outside Canada, customers are referred to Intrepid directly.

08 — Dual-Laminate Construction

Dual-laminate for the
hardest chemistries.

Some chemistries are too aggressive for a conventional FRP corrosion barrier. Dual-laminate construction pairs a thermoplastic liner — PE, PP, PVC, CPVC, ECTFE, ETFE, or PVDF — bonded to an FRP structural shell. The liner takes the chemistry; the FRP carries the load. Built by our sister company An-Cor Industrial Plastics in North Tonawanda, NY.

10 — Custom Fabrications

Built-to-print
fabrications.

Manufacturing

Three processes,
one shop floor.

We select the manufacturing process based on the part, not the other way around. Filament winding for tanks and cylindrical vessels; contact molding and hand lay-up for ducting, custom shapes, and PrecisionGrate molded grating; in-house fabrication and assembly of FRP grating, ladders, and access systems from contact-molded components.

A
Filament
Winding

Continuous-strand glass laid down on a rotating mandrel under controlled tension. Used for tanks and other cylindrical components.

B
Contact
Molding

Hand lay-up over a mold for non-cylindrical and one-off geometry. Heads, hoods, sumps, and complex transitions.

C
Fabrication
& Assembly

In-house cutting, joining, and assembly of contact-molded FRP grating and structural shapes into grating systems, ladders, handrails, and walkway access platforms.
